Launch of further LGV Bootcamps
Following the success of its LGV Bootcamps, A.W. Jenkinson Transport is now bringing the scheme to the south of England!
Bootcamps are a hugely successful Government scheme designed to re-skill people into new roles and industries. HGV Bootcamps are intense training courses aimed at quickly training individuals in the skills required to drive HGV vehicles.

The Cumbria Training Alliance is the brand-new collaborative training partnership set up between SP Training and Tyson H Burridge! With this partnership, businesses can now access high quality logistics training services across Cumbria.

Since partnering with SP Training in November 2021 we have been able to deliver a Driver Academy across three of our fuels businesses within Grantham, Carnforth and Peterlee areas.
SP Training have provided our Academy Drivers with the knowledge and tools and support to successfully pass their theory and practical driving elements of the Large Goods Vehicle Level 2 Apprenticeship Programme. This has meant we have been able to bring in and retain talent within an industry that is experiencing a driver shortage.
We are looking forward to continuing our partnership with SP Training as we continue to roll out Driver Academies across other locations within the fuels businesses.
