The Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship is ideal for individuals who oversee small teams, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. This programme equips team leaders with the skills to manage workloads, foster collaboration, and provide guidance to their team members. It prepares them to build a supportive and productive environment while maintaining focus on achieving organisational objectives. Whether in a warehouse, office, or retail setting, this apprenticeship develops confident supervisors ready to lead their teams effectively.

Roles Involving Responsibility for Operational or Project Outcomes
For roles that require a focus on delivering operational plans or managing project outcomes, the Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship provides the perfect foundation. End Point Assessment (EPA)

The Team Leader Level 3 Apprenticeship culminates in an End-Point Assessment (EPA) designed to evaluate the apprentice’s competence in line with industry standards. The EPA comprises two key components:

Presentation with Questions and Answers: Post-gateway, apprentices are assigned a presentation topic related to their role. They have two weeks to prepare a presentation that summarizes their responsibilities and relevance to the organization. The presentation typically lasts 20 minutes, followed by a 30-minute Q&A session.

Professional Discussion Underpinned by a Portfolio of Evidence: This is a structured discussion between the apprentice and an independent assessor, focusing on the apprentice’s portfolio compiled during the apprenticeship. The discussion, lasting approximately 60 minutes, assesses the apprentice’s knowledge, skills, and behaviours against the apprenticeship standard.

Grading: Each component is graded as Fail, Pass, or Distinction. To achieve a Distinction overall, the apprentice must attain Distinction in both components.
