Dangerous Goods (ADR) General Awareness

The ADR General Awareness course allows individuals to safely dispatch, handle and receive consignments of dangerous goods in line with legal requirements. It is ideal for candidates who are office, warehouse or yard based and who deal with dangerous goods or candidates who handle limited quantities outside of scope.

‘The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2011’ and ADR 2015, requires that organisations engaged in transport of “in scope” Dangerous Goods by road, ensure that all relevant staff undergo adequate training. This includes Consignors, Carriers and Consignees.

COURSE CONTENT

The course will provide consignors and consignees of dangerous goods with relevant knowledge of The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and ADR Regulations, along with essential awareness of:

• Safe Operating Procedures
• Potential Risks in the Handling of Hazardous Materials
