IPAF

SP Training are an approved IPAF Training Centre and deliver a range of powered access training courses. You can train on one or more pieces of equipment with each having its own qualification category. Those who need to use only one category of powered access equipment should attend the Single Category course and those who need to use two categories of powered access equipment should attend the Dual Categories course.

Training should be undertaken by those who use, supervise or manage the use of powered access, including scissor lifts, self-propelled boom lifts, trailer mounted boom lifts and aerial work platforms.

IMPORTANT UPDATE

IPAF and SP Training Now Use Online Learning Prior to Practical Training

If you’ve completed IPAF training in the past, it’s important to note that IPAF now mandates the completion of an online learning module before attending the practical course. This new requirement ensures that participants arrive with a solid understanding of the theoretical aspects of MEWPS operation, such as safety protocols, legislation, and best practices.

The online module can be completed at your own pace, and it covers essential topics that will be built upon during the practical training. By completing this module beforehand, the time spent on-site can be focused on practical skills and hands-on experience with the equipment.

An E-Learning link is sent to the candidate via email and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

If you’ve taken IPAF training before, please be aware of this new online requirement, as it may be different from previous courses.
