RTITB Forklift Truck Training

SP Training are an accredited provider of RTITB Forklift Truck (FLT) operator training. Courses are offered for all levels of experience and for a range of Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE).

On completion of these courses candidates will gain a RTITB photo ID and certificate, these are valid
for 3 years.

We are constantly adding to our MHE portfolio so if you are needing training for a piece of equipment not listed please contact us, as we may still be able to help.

EXPERIENCE LEVELS

Novice: Designed for those with no previous experience of operating a FLT.

Experienced: For someone who is an experienced FLT operator but does not have a certificate (or can’t provide proof they held one).

Refresher: For existing operators who require periodic refresher training (proof of previous training must be provided).

Conversion: For candidates who already hold certification on one type of FLT and would like to qualify in the operation of another type.

ASSESSMENT METHOD

Learners will be assessed in three parts:

• Theory Test
• Pre-Use Inspection Test
• Practical Test of Basic Operating Skills

TRAINING DURATION

Refresher – 1 day

Experienced – 3 days

Novice – 5 days

Conversion – 1 day
