Choose the Licence That Suits Your Goals

CAT C1 Licence – Medium-Sized Vehicles (3.5 to 7.5 Tonnes)

Ideal for paramedics, couriers, and delivery drivers, the C1 licence is the first step into professional driving. You’ll get hands-on training tailored to medium-sized vehicles with a focus on road safety, vehicle control and test prep that gives you the best shot at passing first time.

Your Training Includes:

  • Online Theory Learning – Study when and where it suits you

  • Mod 1A, 1B & 2 Theory Tests – Taken at your local DVSA test centre

  • 3–5 Days Practical Driver Training – Vehicle safety, road driving and test rehearsal

  • Optional Mod 4 DCPC – If you’re driving for hire/reward

CAT C Licence – Class 2 (Rigid Vehicles Over 7.5 Tonnes)

This is where things get serious. The CAT C licence qualifies you to drive large rigid vehicles, including refuse trucks and heavy delivery lorries. If you’re looking for dependable, high-demand work, this is the licence you want.

Your Training Includes:

  • Online Theory Learning – Learn at your own pace

  • Full Support Through Theory Tests – Mod 1A, 1B & Mod 2

  • 5 Days Practical HGV Training – With Mod 3A (reversing) & Mod 3B (road test)

  • Mod 4 DCPC – To complete your first 5 years of Driver CPC certification

CAT C+E Licence – Class 1 (Articulated Vehicles)

The gold standard for HGV drivers. With a CAT C+E licence, you’re qualified to drive articulated lorries – the big rigs used for long-distance and high-volume freight. More responsibility, more earning potential, more flexibility.

Your Training Includes:

  • Online Theory & Mod Tests (1A, 1B, 2) – Same as above

  • 10 Days Practical Driver Training – Includes coupling/uncoupling and articulated vehicle handling

  • Mod 3A & 3B Practical Tests – Reversing, road driving, and safety questions

  • Mod 4 DCPC – So you’re legally ready to drive professionally

1. Meet the Basics

✓ Apply for LGV provisional (we’ll help)

2. Driver Medical
Complete a D4 form with a doctor — we’ll guide you to quick, affordable options.

3. Theory Tests (Mods 1A, 1B & 2)
Study online at your pace, book tests locally.

4. Practical Training (Mods 3A & 3B)
5–10 days of full-time, hands-on instruction.

5. Mod 4 CPC (for professional drivers)
Covers safety, compliance, and real-world scenarios.

6. You’re Qualified
Get your upgraded licence + DQC in the post. Ready to work.
