The Transport Supervisor Apprenticeship is a Level 3 tailored Apprenticeship, taking around 13 months. It has been created to meet employers’ specific requirements while minimising disruption to the business. Many of the skills are developed while the employee is on the job!
The Transport Manager CPC element of the programme offers 10 days of “off-the-job” training. The rest of the training is then formulated by attending planned-in virtual classroom sessions, online learning and on-the-job “buddy” training.
Larger employers – the cost of the training element is FULLY FUNDED by your Apprenticeship Levy.
SMEs – if you do not pay a levy tax there is a 5% contribution required. This equates to only £250 per learner – far cheaper than commercial training!
We use an online support system for learners called OLLIE. This acts as an online portfolio as well as a structured training and progress resource. It can be accessed at any time by a computer, tablet or smartphone.
The actual training for your learners is a mixture of online and face-to-face practical learning.
